Why Dual Enroll with FBC?

WHAT FBC HAS TO OFFER

All FBC courses are available for High School Juniors and Seniors to take for college credit! Below are some additional class modalities we offer through our wonderful partnerships.

A Course Made for You!

Intro to Career Development is an FBC online independent  study with Dr. Kevin Newman, ThD. (1, 2 or 3 credits)

This course provides high school Juniors and Seniors with an opportunity to learn and develop the necessary skills to engage in life/career planning. This variable credit course can be taken for one, two, or three credit hours. Students can gain assistance in many areas of career development, from choosing a major and deciding on occupations to learning about resumes, interviewing, and job search strategies. The process involves thoughtful self-assessment, career exploration, planning, and follow-through with preliminary employment strategies.

Christian Ed. Partnerships

There are two ways FBC can come alongside Christian high schools & home school co-ops.

1) We can partner with the institute through their existing faculty to provide some classes as dual enrollment credit.

For example, two teachers at Hampton Christian Academy offer a few of their classes as dual enrollment and we accept their credits.

2) We can come to them!

In the past, our president, Kevin Newman, taught weekly for another local Christian academy.

Home School Partnerships

Sarah Olbris, home school Math teacher and annual tester, uses our campus for classes and testing. We accept her advanced Math courses as dual enrollment credits.

Home Educators Association Of Virginia ( HEAV ) is a proud supporter of Faith Bible College.

The 2025 Convention will be on June 5-7th in Richmond, VA. More details to come!
