A Letter From Our President

Cellphones have become indispensable. But it is still possible to drop a call. Sometimes we move to a location where we have no signal, or maybe we hang up unintentionally. Either way, we drop the call. We are asking you to make sure that Faith Bible College does not Drop the Call because God is making connections!

Local Connections – For over 25 years God has been using Faith Bible College to connect with students in the Hampton Roads area. FBC now offers three degrees: a Certificate in Biblical Studies, an Associate of Biblical Studies, and a Bachelor of Biblical Studies and Ministry. All of our courses are Hybrid in nature meaning that students can attend in person or via Zoom. We also held our very first Faith Positions Forum last January and are planning our second forum for this coming January.

National Connections – The advantage of our hybrid classes is that they allow students anywhere in the country to attend FBC. We are also producing more online (self-paced, independent study) courses as well. Our online classes allow anyone with an internet connection to pursue a degree or take a class from anywhere in the United States.

International Connections – Perhaps the most exciting connections God is making are outside of our normal confines. God has already opened a door for FBC to minister to a number of students in Pakistan. One class has already been translated into Urdu and another is being taught live through Zoom. There are also possibilities of reaching people in Vietnam, Mexico, and the Middle East. In addition to that, FBC is now exploring how to offer classes in other languages. One course is currently being translated into Spanish, and we hope to be able to produce not only a Spanish language track, but ones in Mandarin, Tagalog (the Philippines), and other foreign languages for those here and abroad.

All of these connections depend on us not Dropping the Call. Please continue to give to Faith Bible College. We are in need of better equipment and increasing partnerships to walk through the doors that God has opened. You can help by donating to Faith Bible College now and on Giving Tuesday (November 28). We also need your prayers, and any connections that you can provide for us as well. Another way that you can keep the call from being dropped is remembering FBC in your Planned Giving and Estate Planning.

God promises in Isaiah 55:11 that His Word will not return empty, but it will accomplish the purpose He desires. God is making connections for Faith Bible College to send out His Word all around the world! Please partner with us to help His Word accomplish the purpose He desires, locally, nationally and internationally.
